CORIANDER (Ripe Seeds) Coriandrum sativum
Coriander oil has a sweet, spicy, warm smell, is nearly colourless to pale yellow. Useful in blends for muscular, immune and nervous systems, Coriander oil can also be useful to refresh and to uplift the mind.
It can help for mental fatigue, migraine, tension and nervous weakness.
It has a warming effect on the stomach and relieves wind and cramps, while revitalizing the glandular system.

Although most essential oils blend well together, Coriander Essential Oil blends particularly well with Bergamot, Cinnamon Leaf, Clary Sage, Clove Bud, Cypress, Frankincense, Ginger, Grapefruit, Jasmine, Lemon, Neroli, Orange and Sandalwood.

Chemical composition
The main chemical components are borneol 0.16%, linalool 79.9%, cineole, ρ-cymene 0.84%, γ-terpinene 2.5%, dipentene, phellandrene, α-pinene 3.62% and α-terpinolene 0.6
Extraction
Our Coriander Essential Oil comes from Russia and is extracted from the crushed ripe seeds by steam distillation and yields 0.8 – 1.0 % oil.
Precautions
No contra-indications are known, but the oil can have a stupefying effect when used in very large doses. Use only in moderation
