Jasmine Hydrosol Jasminium grandiflorum
Jasmine hydrosol called Jasmine water is by-product of Jasmine oil distillation and contains the water soluble constituents of the Jasmine flower. Jasmine Water is a natural perfume and after bath splash that refreshes skin and the senses with the refreshing floral scent of jasmine.
Jasmine was used in traditional Chinese medicines for female related problems and diseases. Jasmine water can be added into the bath water for treating period pains, PMS symptoms and menopausal problems.
Jasmine water is a known aphrodisiac and in many parts of the world, women rub a little water or rub the flowers into their hair before going out for that special evening. The natural oil in the hair will maintain the Jasmine perfume for hours.
The Jasmine flower has been nicknamed ‘Queen of the Night’; for centuries, women have treasured it for its seductive, beautiful fragrance. It helps reduce anxiety and apathy, is uplifting and relieves stress, anxiety, and worry.
If applied to the face hydrolats should be diluted to 50% strength with purified water as they are dehydrating and will dry out the skin if used at full strength.
